Every time I am in LA I feel that I have to be Red Carpet ready 24/7. When I think about the style and looks of LA, this is what comes to mind: obsession with fashion, vanity, tan, slim, high heels, extravagant and chic. This city keeps you on your toes. You watch what you eat and you watch what you wear. Because who knows you may dine next to Steven Spielberg or bump into Arnold Schwarzeneggerr on Sunset Boulevard like it happened to me last year. While you are getting ready you may enjoy a light snack from Wolfgang Puck restaurant, so try Original Nancy Reagan salad or delicious blue crab cakes.

What to wear for your night out? Tricky question…This is what you shall keep in mind. It doesn’t matter if you are going out to a nightclub or if you are meeting someone at the elegant members-only Soho Club. LA is all about standing out. LA style is the opposite of bohemian and casual wear of New York. Forget your trainers and flats at home and put on the highest heels you can find. Giuseppe Zanotti, Christian Louboutin, and Jimmy Choo are my first choice. Find bright colors, elegant but provocative apparel. It doesn’t have to be too flashy, too short and too sexy. It has to be just enough racy to boost imagination. I would go for Dolce & Gabanna, Tom Ford or Gucci dresses and tops. Try to wear eye catching jewelry, sparkling bling, and hair accessories to create a fashion forward look. I prefer to accessorize with Pucci scarfs, Bulgari earrings from a Diva collection and Hermes bracelets such as Rivale Double Tour. Enjoy LA!
